Candy Red

Vallejo Premium Color, Candy Red (60 ml)

Candy Red is a transparent red shade from the Candy Colors range by Vallejo, water-based airbrush paints with a hybrid acrylic-polyurethane binder. The paint is transparent and glossy: on its own it does not cover, but laid over a metallic or pearl base it creates a rich, deeply radiant effect that answers the play of light. It is used for custom finishes, RC bodies, helmets and special effects.

Use

• Apply it in thin coats with an airbrush with a 0.3 mm nozzle or larger, at a pressure of roughly 2 to 4 bar.
• It gives the best result over a gloss metallic base (silver or gold, for instance); you control the depth of the shade by the number of coats.
• Stir it before use and while spraying.
• It is not an opaque paint, so do not expect full coverage on bare plastic.

Who it is for

For modelers and makers of custom projects who want radiant, transparent finish effects over a metallic base. It is not suitable as an ordinary opaque paint.

Store out of the reach of children, ventilate while spraying and use respiratory protection.
