Compound Applicator (Tamiya)

A soft applicator from Tamiya intended for applying and then buffing out modeling polishing compound. The fine material will not scratch the surface and is therefore ideal for polishing gloss finishes and clear parts as well. It is a modeling aid for polishing - the polishing compound itself and wax are not included in the package.

Use

  • Applying polishing compound to the painted surface of a model.
  • Buffing out and smoothing the finish to a high gloss with no risk of scratches.
  • Suitable for applying modeling wax and for polishing clear parts as well.
  • Work with a gentle circular motion and moderate pressure.
  • Wash the applicator after use, so that residue of the compound does not spoil the next job.

Who it is for

Suitable for modelers who finish gloss paintwork - car and motorcycle bodies, for instance - and want to achieve a smooth mirror surface. Anyone who polishes paintwork or clear parts and needs a gentle application will appreciate it.

Polishing compound and wax are not included in the package. This is an aid - when working with compounds, follow the instructions of the maker of the compound in question, and keep out of the reach of children.
