Dark Vermilion FS31350 / RAL3000

Vallejo Model Color Dark Vermilion

Model Color is a thick water based acrylic for the brush, and for the airbrush once thinned with water, that dries flat. Dark Vermilion is a warm orange-red vermilion; the shade comes close to the FS 31350 and RAL 3000 standards (fire red), which makes it suitable for warning and signal surfaces.

Use

• It is thinned with water or with an acrylic thinner; thin the paint for the airbrush.
• Suitable for national insignia, signal surfaces, warning stripes and prominent markings.
• A deep vermilion also serves as a warm base for mixing orange-red tones.
• For a clean, full shade lay it over a light base and stir the paint thoroughly.

Who it is for

For modelers who need a strong warm red for markings and warning surfaces.
