A decal sheet for a model of the MiG-29 tactical fighter in the colors of the Russian Strizhi aerobatic team, in 1:48 scale. It is neither a kit nor an accessory part but a separate sheet of markings, which replaces the decals from the box. It gives the model the striking red, blue and white scheme of the display machines.
The Strizhi are a Russian aerobatic team flying MiG-29 tactical fighters, and their name means swifts. It came about at the end of the 1980s and has been performing at air shows at home and abroad ever since. The aircraft carry a striking red, blue and white scheme with a star on the vertical tail, which differs fundamentally from the combat finish. That is exactly why they are a rewarding subject for modelers.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss surface; on a matte area a white film forms under them. Leave the sheet in the water only briefly and move the piece into place with a soft brush. Blot the excess water away and let everything dry thoroughly. Finally give the area a coat of varnish to the degree of gloss you want, so that the edges disappear.
The sheet is supplied without a kit. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
