Vallejo Diesel Stains

This is a ready-made acrylic effect from the Vallejo weathering series that creates the characteristic orange-tinted, slightly glossy traces of spilled or seeped diesel fuel. It is made from pigments and a water-thinnable acrylic resin, so it contains no solvents and is not flammable. It is supplied ready to use in a 40 ml bottle.

Use

• It is applied with a brush straight onto the model, for example around fuel caps, on engine decks, tanks and running gear.
• The effect can be thinned with water and its intensity adjusted; it dries quickly and the surface stays slightly glossy like a fresh fuel leak.
• Brushes and tools are cleaned with water and soap.
• It can be combined with other washes, filters and pigments for building up layered weathering.
