The matte primer in a flesh shade from Titans Hobby is a base for figures and busts on which skin is painted faster and with fewer coats.
Responsibility details are not available.
A base coat in a matte finish and a flesh shade, intended for figures and busts. The primer is there to make the following coats adhere and at the same time to give the skin its base tone. Anyone who has ever painted a face over a gray or black base knows how many coats it takes before flesh paint starts to cover. A colored primer skips that step.
It is applied with an airbrush in thin coats on a clean and degreased surface. On a figure, spray the primer over the whole surface and then build the shadows and highlights with glazes or washes. The matte surface is an advantage, because thinned paints work well on it and no patches from uneven sheen appear.
The first coat has to be thin, otherwise you lose the relief of the facial features, which is very fine in small scales. Always wash the figure before painting; on resin this also removes the residue of the mold release agent. Use the flesh base under the hands and the neck as well, so that you do not have to build those areas separately. Try the shade on a test piece, because there is a whole range of flesh tones and the difference between them only shows under a glaze. Bear in mind too that a colored base affects the final tone of the clothing as well, if you do not cover it sufficiently.
Shake thoroughly before use. Work in a ventilated room and keep out of the reach of children.
