Vallejo Gloss Black

The Vallejo gloss black primer is a water-based acrylic-polyurethane primer. It dries quickly into a smooth, self-leveling gloss film that is firm and durable. It contains no solvents and is not flammable. Gloss black is the classic base that raises the saturation and depth of the metallic shades applied over it.

Use

  • It is applied with an airbrush or a brush to plastic, resin and metal.
  • It serves as a base under metallic paints, to which gloss black gives a more pronounced sheen and contrast.
  • Before masking, letting the primer cure properly is recommended.
  • It is not thinned with a lacquer thinner; tools are cleaned with water.
