Plants set the climate and the season of a diorama faster than anything else. Low palms growing close to the ground belong in tropical and subtropical settings: at the edge of a jungle, along a dusty road, at the foot of a wall or among vehicles, where they fill an empty area and give a scene depth. The parts are laser-cut, so they have a thin and clean outline that would be hard to achieve by cutting them out by hand.
The individual parts are taken out of the carrier sheet, the remains of the tab are trimmed flush and the leaves are joined into a plant; the order of the parts and the number of leaves per plant are given in the manufacturer's instructions. Before gluing, bend the leaves slightly and twist them a little. A flat leaf looks like cut-out material, a curved one like a plant, and it is exactly this step that shows in the result. Apply the glue drop by drop with the tip of a toothpick, as on thin material any excess shows.
A set of plants for assembly is supplied. A base, terrain compound, glue and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. The exact contents of the package are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
