The package brings together marker pens filled with paint that is applied to the surface of a plastic model straight from the tip. The figure in the name says that there are six shades, so the set forms a basic palette for color finishing work and smaller areas. It is not a fixing or varnishing product but marker pens that lay paint down.
It deals with situations where setting up an airbrush or mixing on a palette would be needless: finishing a small part, repairing a scuffed corner, bringing out a small area or adding color where a decal does not sit right. The tip works with no pot and with no washing of the tool afterwards, which shows during a short session at the table.
Try the first stroke away from the model, for instance on an offcut of sprue, so that you know how strongly the tip releases paint. Prefer to lay lighter strokes one after another and let the surface dry between them; one heavy coat smears more easily than two thin ones. After work, close the pen so that the tip does not dry out, and store it so that no hardened crust is left on the point.
Take the set as supplementary equipment for painting, not as a replacement for a complete painting workshop.
