Gundam Marker Seed Basic Set offers color marker pens keyed to the Gundam SEED series.
Responsibility details are not available.
The product falls among pens that carry paint in their reservoir and pass it to the surface straight from the tip. The word Seed in the name points to a particular series, and the word Basic to the fact that this is the starting palette, not an extended one. The product has nothing to do with weathering or with a protective coat. The set is a way in for anyone who wants the shades together and does not want to hunt for them one at a time.
The color schemes of the mobile suits from this series rest on more saturated, more contrasting tones. Thanks to a themed set the builder does not have to hunt for the shades one piece at a time and compare them with each other. Which exact tone each pen carries, though, cannot be read from the name.
The paint comes out of the tip evenly only when the surface is degreased and free of dust; fingerprints will print through into the stroke. It pays to work in small sections and let them set before you go on to the neighboring part. Do not press the tip into the plastic; that widens the stroke and the paint piles up at the edge. Wipe the residue off the point on paper before you close the pen.
Count on this being an aid for details, not the main painting equipment of a workshop.
