The translucent Clear Silver shade of the Mr.Color GX line. It does not cover the surface below but tints it; it is thinned with the thinner of the Mr.Color line, not with water.

GX110 Clear Silver is one of the clear shades of the Mr.Color GX line. Clear paints do not cover: the coats beneath show through them and they color only the light reflected back from the base. The result is therefore always decided by the base, not by the bottle alone. Over a dark glossy base the coat reads cooler and deeper, over a light one it stays more delicate. The GX line belongs to Mr.Color, so it is thinned with the thinner intended for that line, and the thinning ratio is given in the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
Clear shades are used wherever a surface is to be luminous or tinted: on covers and transparent parts, for unifying glossy surfaces, for a subtle shift of an already finished color, or for layering effects over a metallic base. They mix well with other shades of the same line when you want to fine-tune the tone.
The best result comes from an airbrush and several genuinely thin coats. Saturation grows with every coat and cannot be reduced afterward, so add slowly. The base must be smooth and glossy, as a matte surface makes a clear coat go cloudy. It is thinned with the thinner of the Mr.Color line, not with water. The thinner of this line is more aggressive than that of water-thinnable paints, so if you apply it over another brand of paint, test the combination on a scrap of plastic first.
The package contains a single bottle of paint. Thinner, brushes, an airbrush and the model are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
