This is a modeling tool, a scraper meant for cleaning up plastic parts, above all for removing mold (parting) seams, burrs and gate marks. The sharp working edge shaves the plastic away gently, so the surface stays smooth without the need for heavy sanding.
Draw the scraper along the seam with a light stroke; work in thin passes until the seam disappears. It takes the place of much of the sanding and saves both time and sanding paper.
Suitable for plastic modelers who want cleanly finished parts with no visible seams, especially on smooth and rounded surfaces where sanding is difficult.
Protect the edge with its cap and keep the tool clean. Work away from your body.
