HUG204 is a pink paint from a range of shades tied to particular machines from the world of Gundam. The name Lunamaria Hawke belongs to a pilot whose machine is pink exactly like this. For the builder it saves the most tedious part of the work, namely mixing a far from trivial shade out of the basic colors and then matching it again when the first batch does not go far enough.
It is a paint from the Gunze range; the thinner and the thinning ratio follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging. It dries to a semi-gloss sheen. With a pink that is a grateful thing: a high gloss would turn it into a toy finish, while a full flat would take away the saturation and the shade would look dusty.
Pink is among the shades with weaker coverage, so lay it over a light primer and in two or three thin coats. A heavy coat dries unevenly and the sheen on the edges differs from the sheen in the flat. Stir the paint before use, the pigment settles at the bottom. Wash and degrease the parts beforehand. Choose the thinner and the ratio for an airbrush as the manufacturer's instructions say. Try the shade on an offcut of sprue first, because over plastic of a different color it may look different than on the color chart.
The paint is supplied on its own. The kit, the thinner, the primer, the clear coat and the tools are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
