This is a resin detail set from the Czech maker CMK, not a model on its own. It completes the interior of the driver's part of the hull of the StuG III assault gun in the Ausf.G version with parts that injection-molded plastic usually only suggests: the gearbox, the steering, the controls and the instruments of the driver's station. The set is meant for use with the StuG III Ausf.G kit in 1:35 scale.
The Sturmgeschütz III Ausf.G was the most widespread version of the German assault gun of the Second World War. It was based on the chassis of the Panzer III tank, carried a 75 mm StuK 40 gun in a low superstructure with no rotating turret and served for direct fire support of infantry and for destroying tanks. The Ausf.G was built in large numbers from 1942 until the end of the war.
First wash the resin parts free of any remains of mold release agent, cut them carefully off the casting blocks and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It makes sense to detail and paint the interior before closing the hull, because it is then visible through the open hatches. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is an accessory for the given model, not a kit on its own. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
