Vallejo Model Color Iraquian Sand FS30475 is a sand color for the desert camouflage of modern vehicles - a flat, water-thinnable acrylic in a 17 ml dropper bottle. It is a modeling paint, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sandy, slightly yellowish shade from the Vallejo Model Color acrylic range. It is a modeling paint, not a kit - the package consists of one dropper bottle with a volume of 17 ml. The designation FS30475 is carried by the shade directly in the manufacturer's name and refers to the standardized sand tone used on vehicles deployed in desert conditions.
Beware of a common mistake: an FS code in the name does not yet mean that this is the Model Air range. This shade belongs to the Model Color range - a thicker acrylic developed above all for the brush, which has to be thinned with water or Vallejo thinner before airbrushing. The Model Air range, by contrast, is ready to spray straight from the bottle. If you plan to spray large areas, reckon on thinning.
Light sand shades tend to cover less well - lay them on in two or three thin coats over a light undercoat and skip the single thick coat. The paint goes flat once dry; before decals, therefore, varnish the area with a gloss varnish compatible with acrylic, so that no silvered edges appear. Then build the dust and sand from the lower areas upwards - the way they really settle.
For modelers of modern military vehicles and for everyone who builds desert schemes and the weathering that belongs to them.
A water-thinnable acrylic with no organic solvents, non-toxic. Ensure ventilation and protect your airways while spraying. Keep out of the reach of children and close the bottle carefully after use.
