A jade green shade from the Game Air airbrush line by Vallejo. The paint is ready to spray and goes on in thin coats.
Responsibility details are not available.
Jade Green is a cool green with a bluish cast, the tone of polished stone. On figures it suits gemstones and amulets, enameled surfaces, the scales of lizards and dragons, and the green parts of armor that should look nobler than plain grass green. On hardware it comes into its own wherever green should be saturated and cool at the same time.
Game Air is the part of the Vallejo palette listed for the airbrush. The paint is finely ground and thinned so that it passes even through a fine nozzle with no further work. The spray is thin and even, which matters on small figures: a heavy coat takes the crispness off their detail. It is a water-based acrylic paint, thinned with water or with the thinner intended for this line.
Shake the bottle before use, as the pigment settles. Spray several light coats rather than one heavy one and let the paint dry between coats. Cool green shows best over a light base; over a dark ground you will need to lay it on several times. Stone and enamel gain depth if the area is darkened at the edge and the lightest point is placed off center, as though light were reflecting in the surface.
It is aimed at painters of tabletop gaming figures and fantasy subjects who work with an airbrush, and at modelers whose palette is missing a cool green.
The package holds the paint alone; the model and other supplies are not included, unless stated otherwise.
