Light Emerald MC755

Model Color acrylic paint, the Light Emerald shade

Model Color is a range of thick acrylic paints with a high pigment content, developed above all for work with a brush. The paint levels its own strokes as it dries, so no brush marks are left behind, and it dries matte in a way that does not hide fine engraving. It thins with water and the individual shades of the range can be mixed with one another. It comes in a dropper bottle holding 18 ml, so it can be dispensed drop by drop and does not dry out as quickly as it would in an open pot. The Light Emerald shade is a light, rich emerald green.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles to the bottom.
• Apply in thin coats; one heavy coat clogs the detail and dries less well.
• It thins with water or with a thinner for acrylics; lacquer thinner and cellulose thinner do not belong here.
• For the airbrush the paint has to be thinned considerably, as the range is built for the brush and would clog the nozzle unthinned.
• Wipe the dropper after work and close the bottle carefully, as dried acrylic cannot be stirred back.

Who it is for

The paint suits figure painters, modelers of vehicles and anyone painting dioramas. A light emerald green comes into its own on uniform and civilian accessories, on the finishes of machines and equipment, and as a starting tone for mixing further green shades within the range.

Keep it tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Ventilate while working and avoid splashing your clothes.
