A Tamiya modeling paint from the LP range, shade LP-76 yellow-brown for German vehicles in North Africa. Suitable for the airbrush and for the brush.
Responsibility details are not available.
A shade from the LP range by Tamiya, listed under the designation LP-76 as yellow-brown. Its name links it to the German units deployed in North Africa in 1941, for which the European dark gray finish proved unsuitable and whose vehicles received lighter desert shades. Yellow-brown therefore appears on armored vehicles, trucks and artillery of that theater. On a model it pays to add graduated dust, because the desert finish faded quickly and looked different on every machine.
Use the thinner intended for this range and keep the thinning ratio as stated by the manufacturer on the packaging. Stir the bottle thoroughly before taking any paint out. With an airbrush, apply several thin coats, as a heavy layer fills the engraving and the fine surface detail disappears. With a brush, work briskly and do not go back into a coat that has started to set. Wash and degrease the model before painting, otherwise the paint beads up and holds poorly.
For builders of German vehicles of the North African campaign and for anyone looking for a base desert shade. Work in a well-ventilated area and close the bottle carefully after taking paint out.
Thinner, brushes and airbrushes are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise. The packaging states the volume.
