Luminous Orange Matt Spray

Luminous Orange Matt Spray (Revell)

A matte signal orange from a spray can of the Revell Spray Color range in a 100 ml package. It is a paint on a synthetic, solvent base that is not thinned with water. Prominent orange shades are used on models where an area is to be clearly visible: on warning stripes, on parts of training and rescue machines, on the markings of vehicles and on accessories for dioramas. With these bright shades in particular it is good to reckon with the fact that they generally have lower covering power than ordinary dark paints and look dull over a dark base.

Use

• Shake the can thoroughly for at least two minutes, as the rich pigment settles at the bottom
• The best result comes from spraying over a light base, ideally over a white or light gray filler primer
• Spray from a distance of roughly 20 to 30 centimeters, in several thin coats one after another
• Do not try to cover an area with one thick coat, as the paint would lose its matte character and flood engraved detail
• Let the surface set between coats, and work at room temperature and lower humidity
• Apply masking tape only to fully cured paint and pull it off slowly at a sharp angle
• After the work, turn the can upside down and press the valve briefly, so that the nozzle is cleared

Who the paint is for

It suits modelers who need a prominent signal shade over a larger area and do not want to apply it laboriously with a brush, and also serves for accessories for dioramas, for modeling aids and for the training or rescue coloring of vehicles.

The aerosol is flammable and under pressure. Work in a ventilated space or outdoors, do not inhale the aerosol mist, do not spray toward an open flame, do not expose the can to heat and keep out of the reach of children. Do not mix with water-thinnable acrylics.
