Mark Fit (Super Strong) — decal softener (Tamiya)

A decal softener of the Mark Fit line from the Japanese manufacturer Tamiya, the Super Strong version. It is the strongest Mark Fit variant, which temporarily softens a decal so that it conforms perfectly to the shape of the surface and adheres without air bubbles. The bottle has an application brush in the cap.

Use

• It is applied with the brush onto the place where the decal will be positioned and, if needed, over a decal that has already been laid down.
• The strong formula is intended above all for decals on intricate, rounded, riveted or matte surfaces that weaker softeners cannot cope with.
• A softened decal is pressed down carefully so that it follows the details of the surface; do not move it until it has dried.
• It is a very strong product — it can damage some types of decals or attack the varnish, so test it first in a less visible place.

For more advanced modelers who need to settle decals onto demanding shapes. Thanks to the strength of the formula it suits places where an ordinary softener fails.
