Gunze Mr. Brush Round 6 — round synthetic brush (Gunze / Mr.Hobby)

The largest of this quartet of round brushes from the Mr. Brush range by Gunze (Mr.Hobby). Size 6 has the most hair, so it picks up plenty of paint and covers a larger area in one stroke — and thanks to the round shape it still keeps a point for coarser detail. The hair is synthetic: it springs, returns to shape and stands up to modeling paints and thinners.

Use

• Larger areas and coverage — base coats on larger parts, continuous areas, undercoats.
• Laying paint down quickly where a smaller brush would leave the marks of its strokes.
• Coarser detail and edges — the round point manages them even at this larger size.
• Suitable for acrylics, lacquers and enamels — synthetic hair is not destroyed by thinners and cleans easily.

Who it is for

For modelers who need a brush for areas and base coats but do not want to lose the point because of it. A quality tip keeps its shape and does not splay out the way a cheap brush does. It complements the smaller sizes of the range nicely, which you keep for the fine detail.

Care: wash it out right after the work, do not let paint dry at the ferrule and dry it point upward.
