Microscale Micro Satin Clear Finish — Satin Transparent Varnish

A transparent varnish with a satin, that is semi-gloss, look from Microscale. It is water-based (acrylic) and serves as a protective coat that also unifies the gloss of the whole model into a consistent satin finish. You can also use it as a base under decals and as a topcoat that seals decals and blends them with the surrounding surface, so the decal's carrier film shows less. It comes in a bottle of about 30 ml.

Use

• Apply as a protective coat on a finished model, unifying the gloss into a satin look.
• Use as a smooth, glossy-to-satin base before applying decals.
• Topcoat decals so they blend with the surface and stay protected.
• Apply with a brush or an airbrush; if needed it can be thinned with a small amount of water.
