Short precision tweezers, ninety millimeters long. A shorter body means a smaller lever, and therefore finer dosing of force than with long tweezers, so a small part flies off less often. The tips are narrow and meet along their whole length when squeezed, which is decisive in work with photo-etch and printed parts.
Never use the tweezers as a lever and do not squeeze them fully closed, as the tips will spread and stop lining up. Spread tips can be evened out by careful sanding, but that is an emergency solution. When working with cyanoacrylate glue, wipe the tips, as a dried drop holds on them firmly and next time will glue the part to the tool. Store the tweezers so that the tips rest against nothing.
It pays to add a light-colored mat to the tweezers. A small part released from the tips stays visible on it, whereas on a dark bench it is lost in a moment. When working with photo-etch, also prepare a piece of stiff paper into which a part can be stuck temporarily before you seat it.
The tips are sharp. Work carefully and keep the tweezers out of the reach of children.
