The newer version of the proven water and dirt trap, which is fitted between the compressor and the airbrush. Compressed air condenses in the compressor and water forms in the hose — otherwise it would travel all the way to the nozzle and spit into fresh paint, where it makes little craters and blotches and ruins the spray. This is one of the most frequent frustrations of beginners, the question of why the airbrush spits. Version II catches water as well as small dirt and oil before they reach the paint.

Use

• It is fitted between the compressor and the airbrush; it fits the standard airbrush connection (the 1/8 inch thread, S).
• The water that collects is drained as needed, the filter element holds the dirt back.
• It pays off especially in damp conditions and during longer continuous work, when condensation grows.
• It keeps the air dry and clean for the whole time of spraying.

Who it is for

For modelers who want the newer version of the trap following on from the original model. It belongs to the Drain & Dust Catcher family together with the basic version, with the lightened Light version and with the II Light. If weight on the airbrush is your main concern, take a look at the Light variants; if you want the current full version, it is this II.

An accessory for an airbrush, not a paint or a kit. Drain the water that collects regularly and change the filter as needed so that it stays effective.
