Gunze Mr. Hi-Coating

This is a protective varnish (a final coating), not a covering paint and not a kit. The formula is water-based and solvent-free: a special resin film creates a glossy layer, a smoothed surface and a layer that limits UV radiation. Because it contains no organic solvents, it can be used on material that an ordinary lacquer (nitro) product would attack, including rubber parts. It can be applied with a brush or an airbrush.

Use

• Apply in thin, even coats onto a dry, degreased surface.
• Suitable as a glossy protective and smoothing varnish for the final surface of a model.
• Thanks to the water base it can also be used on solvent-sensitive parts and on rubber.
• Let it dry properly between coats; clean your tools according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Who it is for

For modelers who want a safe glossy protective varnish with less odor that can also be used on materials that do not tolerate solvents. Suitable for display models where a smooth glossy surface matters.
