Mr. Masking Tape 18mm

Gunze Mr. Masking Tape 18 mm

A masking tape from Gunze (Mr. Hobby) 18 mm wide, made of fine Japanese washi paper (a so-called kabuki tape). It is flexible and pliable, follows rounded shapes and edges well, holds firmly in place and yet can be peeled off once the work is finished without leaving sticky residue. It ensures sharp, clean boundaries between the individual colors, which is ideal for camouflage and multi-color schemes.

Use

• Masking color transitions and camouflage schemes when spraying with an airbrush
• Covering areas that are to stay in their original color
• It is easy to cut with a knife or scissors to the width and shape needed
• It follows rounded surfaces and transitions well thanks to the flexible paper
• Once the paint has dried it peels off with no adhesive residue

Who it is for

For modelers of all levels who need dependable masking with sharp color boundaries. Builders of aircraft and vehicles with multi-color camouflage will appreciate it in particular.

Store dry and cool. Before final masking we recommend testing the adhesion of the tape on a less visible spot.
