Mr White surfacer 1000 170ml Spray

Gunze Mr. White Surfacer 1000 (170 ml Spray)

Mr. White Surfacer 1000 from Gunze (Mr. Hobby / GSI Creos) is a white lacquer filling primer in an aerosol spray can with a volume of 170 ml. It combines the function of a primer and a fine filling putty in one: the number 1000 denotes the fineness of the grit, which fills small grooves, scratches and irregularities and can be sanded smooth once dry. The white shade is ideal beneath light final colors and on dark or translucent plastic, because it increases coverage and reduces the number of coats of paint needed.

Use

• spraying a primer undercoat onto an assembled model before the final painting
• filling fine scratches and surface irregularities thanks to the 1000 grit
• a light white undercoat beneath bright and light shades, which increases the coverage of the paint
• unifying a surface made of different materials (plastic, resin, photo-etched parts) into one shade
• once dry the surface can be sanded smooth with fine sanding paper

Who it is for

Suitable for modelers who want to lay down a quality white primer before painting quickly and without an airbrush, reveal surface flaws and improve the adhesion and coverage of the paints that follow. The spray can will be appreciated especially by those who do not want to thin and clean an airbrush.

Safety notice: an aerosol spray with a lacquer base is extremely flammable, contains organic solvents and is under pressure. Do not expose it to heat, sparks or open flame, and do not pierce it or throw it into a fire even once empty. Use only in a well-ventilated area and protect your airways, skin and eyes. Keep out of the reach of children.
