Gunze Acrysion Violet Gloss — gloss violet (10 ml)

A gloss violet paint from the water-thinnable Acrysion acrylic range by Gunze. The saturated violet shade suits car bodies and finishes with a high gloss. The package has a volume of 10 ml and the paint is suitable for a brush as well as an airbrush.

What it is suited to

A gloss violet is often used on models of cars and motorcycles and on custom finishes, and further on figures, fantasy subjects and anime or mecha kits. A gloss surface is ideal as a base under decals, because it keeps silvering from appearing under them. Saturated violet shades tend to have weaker coverage, so it proves worthwhile to lay them over a light or white surface, which gives the color its brightness.

Use

• Stir the paint thoroughly before use.
• For an airbrush thin it with the original Acrysion thinner and lay it down in thin coats.
• Lay a saturated violet over a light surface for better coverage and brightness.
• A gloss surface is suitable as a base under decals.

The chemistry and thinning — important

Acrysion is a water-thinnable acrylic with its own thinner. It is thinned exclusively with the original Acrysion thinner, or with clean water. It does not take the thinner of the Aqueous range nor a lacquer thinner — those would curdle the paint. Do not mix or thin Acrysion with other ranges of paint.
