This is a universal photo-etched accessory, not a kit. Aber, the Polish maker of photo-etched parts, supplies a thin brass sheet with a regular mesh of 1.5 x 1.5 mm aperture size. The larger square apertures make a more pronounced, coarser structure.
A photo-etched brass mesh replaces coarsely molded plastic grilles with an accurate metal part. The coarser 1.5 mm pattern suits protective grates over engine compartments, baskets, sturdy grilles and larger ventilation areas. The material is thin, holds its shape and is easy to cut to size.
Cut the part out with sharp photo-etch shears or break it off the sheet, and degrease the area beforehand. Glue the mesh with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with a two-part adhesive; apply a metal primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other materials are not included in the package.
