A product for creating water surfaces on dioramas and display bases, in a package of 100 ml. The shade is named after the waters of the Pacific Ocean.
Responsibility details are not available.
The product is meant for creating water surfaces in dioramas and on display bases. The shade takes its name from the waters of the Pacific Ocean, that is, a setting where the surface passes from a clear shallow edge to a deeper, richer body. It finds a use in harbor and beach scenes, at fords and on smaller stretches of water on which equipment or figures stand.
It is a good idea to mark out and seal the place for the surface beforehand, so that the product does not get beyond the area you intend. The bottom is painted before the surface is laid on, because once it has dried there will be no getting at it any more. The thickness of one layer, the number of layers and the drying time are given by the manufacturer on the packaging and those are always what decides; in general, though, several thinner layers dry more evenly than one heavy one.
The impression of depth arises on the bottom already: a darker shade in the middle and a lighter band along the bank will do more for credibility than the surface itself. Do not leave the transition between water and land sharp, work sand and small stones into it. Deal with ripples, surf and foam on the crests with a separate product meant for that purpose. Work in a room free of dust and leave the area undisturbed until it has dried completely.
The package holds 100 ml of the product. The base, the model, figures and material for the surrounding terrain are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
