Mineshima F130A precision tweezers 170 mm long. The long body reaches deep into a fuselage or a hull, where shorter tweezers fall short.
Responsibility details are not available.
With tweezers, length is not just a matter of comfort. A shorter tool forces the hand close to the part, and the hand then blocks the view. Tweezers 170 mm long keep the hand further from the work, so you can see the part you are seating, and they reach even where the opening is narrow and the target deep: into an aircraft fuselage through the cockpit opening, into the fighting compartment of a hull, between interior walls that are already glued. The manufacturer is the Japanese firm Mineshima, which specializes in modeling hand tools.
They suit anywhere the work goes deep: the interiors of aircraft and vehicles, ship superstructures and dioramas where details are seated between elements that are already finished. They also come into their own when retrieving a part that has fallen into a fuselage that is already closed, a situation every modeler knows. They are a complement to short tweezers, not a replacement for them.
The tip is sharp. Put the tweezers down with the tip pointing away from you and keep them out of the reach of children.
