The Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 is a competition car of the Rally2 category, which Skoda Motorsport presented in 2022 as the successor to the Fabia Rally2 evo. It is based on the fourth generation of the Fabia and is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine of 1.6 liters combined with a sequential gearbox and all-wheel drive. Widened wheel arches, a substantial front bumper and a rear wing set the competition version apart from the road car at first glance.
The 1:43 scale is the most widespread for collector's cars, so the model slots easily into a collection already under way and takes up little room in a display case. The finish is white, so the shape of the body and the aerodynamic features come out well while the car also holds its own beside brightly liveried competition machines.
The model is meant for display, not for play. It looks best in a display case or on a shelf out of direct sunlight, which does white surfaces and transparent parts no good over time. Remove dust with a soft brush or a dry cloth; solvents and aggressive cleaners do not belong on the model. When moving it, take hold of the body, not of the mirrors, the wing and other projecting parts.
It will please collectors of the Skoda brand and followers of present-day rallying whose range of models lacks a Rally2 car in a plain white finish. It will also serve as a gift for a rally fan, because it needs no further work. It is a finished model and you need neither paints nor glue to display it; no further work is required.
