One figure of a present-day NATO fighter pilot in 1:32 scale, meant to be assembled and painted.
Responsibility details are not available.
The subject is a present-day fighter pilot of the NATO countries. The package holds one figure in 1:32 scale, the scale of large aircraft models, where it is worth working the face and the gear in more detail than on smaller figures.
A human figure beside a model is the simplest way of showing the viewer the real size of an aircraft. A pilot placed by the landing gear or by the boarding steps turns a static model into a scene with a story and fills the empty area on the base. It serves just as well as a stand-alone piece for a display case, for those who treat figure painting as a discipline of its own.
Wash and degrease the figure before painting, cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little from the part and sand the rest off gently. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts and it is better to fill the seams after gluing, because the paint will otherwise bring them out. Lay the ground down with a base color, then build the shades in thin coats and bring out the folds of the flight suit with a wash. Give the face the most time; the eyes and the lips decide the final impression. A matte varnish at the end evens out the surface, and gloss should be left only on the helmet visor. Paint the small items of gear separately and attach them last.
The figure is for modelers of modern aviation hardware in the large scales and for anyone who wants to add a human figure to their model. Paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
