This resin detail set from the Czech maker Aires replaces the cockpit ejection seat on a model of the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk carrier-based attack aircraft in the A, B, C, E and L versions, scale 1:48. The seat is of the ESCAPAC 1/1A-1 type. It is not an aircraft model but a cockpit accessory.
In an open cockpit the ejection seat is one of the most conspicuous features. The casting brings fine detail of the harness, the handles and the mechanism that a tiny plastic part from a kit usually cannot reach.
Wash the seat free of the mold release agent, separate it from the casting block with a cut and glue it with cyanoacrylate. An airbrush or careful brush work is recommended; bring out the harness and the handles with a wash and with drybrushing. Check the fit in the cockpit tub before you glue it in.
