This is NOT an aircraft model but a detail accessory. The set from the manufacturer Art Scale contains two cast resin ACES II seats without any reproduction of the seat harness. It is intended for modelers who want to add belts of their own to the seats, for example etched or fabric ones, and so to have full control over the final look of the cockpit of the two-seat F-16I Sufa in 1:48 scale.
The ACES II (Advanced Concept Ejection Seat) is an ejection seat fitted in many American combat aircraft including the F-16 Fighting Falcon. The F-16I Sufa is the Israeli two-seat version derived from the F-16D Block 52. Precisely executed seats are among the most prominent features of an open cockpit.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks off and glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Sand the resin with respiratory protection. Paint the seats over a primer and complete them as you like with belts of your own, which are not supplied in this variant.
The accessory is supplied as unglued and unpainted resin castings. The seat harness, the glue, the paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
