CACW - P-40N, P-51K and B-25H/J, decals 1:48 (DK Decals) is a set of waterslide decals with the markings of the aircraft of the Chinese-American Composite Wing. It is not a model but a decal set.
Responsibility details are not available.
A decal set from DK Decals in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a sheet of waterslide decals with the markings and insignia of the aircraft that served with the Chinese-American Composite Wing (CACW) during the Second World War. It contains schemes for the P-40N and P-51K fighters and for the B-25H/J medium bomber.
The Chinese-American Composite Wing was a joint unit of the US Army Air Forces and the Chinese Air Force operating over China during the Second World War. It flew late versions of the P-40 Warhawk fighter, later received P-51 Mustang fighters as well and deployed B-25 Mitchell medium bombers. The markings of these machines combined American and Chinese elements.
For modelers interested in the less usual theater over China and in combined American and Chinese markings. Apply the decals onto a gloss coat and, once dry, go over them with matte varnish.
A decal set, not a model. The kit, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
