A combined set of the LööKplus line from Eduard for a model of the Spitfire Mk.Vb fighter in 1:72 scale. It brings together the LööK cockpit part (a colored steel instrument panel and pre-printed seat belts) with resin exhaust stacks of round (Rounded) section, that is with the classic rounded exhaust manifolds. This version differs from the variant with fishtail exhausts. It is not an airplane kit but a detail accessory.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb was one of the most widespread variants of this British fighter. It was powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin 45 engine and carried the B-type wing with two cannons and four machine guns. Round exhausts were among the renditions of the exhaust manifolds in use at the time.
The colored etched parts are self-adhesive, so degrease the surfaces before applying them. Wash the resin exhausts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Pick out the exhaust openings with dark shades and pigments for a faithful sooty look.
This is a detail accessory for a matching kit in 1:72 scale; the airplane model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
