75 mm Visconti knight (mid-14th century) is a collectible resin figure for experienced modelers and figure painters.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin figure, 75 mm tall, represents an Italian knight from the circle of the powerful Milanese house of Visconti in the middle of the 14th century. It is supplied as a kit of several castings for experienced modelers; the assembly and the painting are up to the modeler.
The Visconti were among the most influential houses of northern Italy and of Milan in the 14th century. A knight of that time wore transitional armor, in which mail was combined with the first plate elements on the chest and the limbs. The figure captures the imposing appearance of such a man-at-arms.
Wash the mold release agent off the castings, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue; sand with respiratory protection. The heraldic colors of the house and the combination of mail and plate armor offer rewarding scope for painting detail in oils or acrylics.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
