1:72 race drivers of the 1930s (3 figures, 3D-printed) is a set of three 3D-printed resin figures of racing drivers of the 1930s in the small 1:72 scale from the brand FLY, an accessory for bringing a racing scene and dioramas to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set holds three 3D-printed resin figures of racing drivers of the 1930s in the small 1:72 scale from the brand FLY. It is not a car model and not a toy; these are unpainted accessories intended to bring a racing scene, a diorama or a display stand beside models of period cars to life. The figures are supplied as resin parts to be cleaned up and painted.
The three characters capture drivers of the prewar Grand Prix era, in period overalls, with leather or cloth helmets and racing goggles, the way racing drivers looked in the 1930s. On the same theme FLY also makes larger individual figures in 1:43 scale (driver No. 1 and No. 2); this set, by contrast, is a trio in the small 1:72 scale, suited to smaller scenes and to setting a racing atmosphere with several figures at once.
Carefully separate the small figures from the print supports, clean up the marks they leave and wash them clean of residue. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Given the small size, good fine brushes and acrylic figure paints pay off; after a primer, paint the flesh, the overalls and the helmets and bring out the details with a wash and a dry brush. Sand resin with respiratory protection.
This is a set of figures (an accessory), not a car model. It is supplied unpainted; paints, glue, models of cars and further accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
