GAS HANS 1:48 P-40 wing racks (for 30 lb and 40 lb bombs) are detailed 3D-printed wing bomb racks for the Curtiss P-40 fighter in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a detail set of 3D-printed wing racks from the Czech manufacturer GAS HANS, intended for carrying smaller 30 and 40 lb aerial bombs under the wings of the Curtiss P-40 fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane model but a detail accessory that completes the underwing armament of the base kit. 3D printing allows fine workmanship on the structure of the racks.
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was an American fighter of the Second World War, widely used by the Allied air forces. Besides its machine gun armament it could carry light bombs under the wings for attacks on ground targets; the racks are a visible detail of the underside of the wings.
Carefully separate the 3D-printed parts from their supports and clean up any marks left by the supports by sanding, with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting, as paint holds better on it.
This is an add-on 3D-printed set, not a standalone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
