A detail set from the Czech maker HGW for the cockpit of the German Messerschmitt Bf-109G-6 fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a separate accessory. The belts are made of fine cloth microfiber, and the buckles and fittings are photo-etched. The combination of the two materials gives the belts a realistic look and a natural shape.
The Messerschmitt Bf-109G-6 was one of the most widespread versions of this German fighter in the Second World War, characteristic for the raised gun covers on the cowling. The set imitates the Luftwaffe type pilot harness and suits G-6 models where the interior is visible under the hinged canopy.
The laser-cut cloth belts are bent over the edge of a tool into a realistic sag and fixed with super glue. Glue the photo-etched buckles at a few points. The fabric is pre-printed, so a fine bringing out of the shadows and a discreet dirtying are enough.
This is an add-on set, not an airplane model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
