About product

Boeing 707-321B - flaps 1:144 (LACI)

This resin detail set from LACI makes it possible to show the landing flaps lowered in the landing configuration on a model of the Boeing 707 airliner. It is not a kit of the whole aircraft but replacement resin wing parts which take the place of the original flaps and noticeably enliven the look of the model.

Use

The original trailing edges of the wing are cut off and replaced with precise resin parts for the flaps and their flap tracks. First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The set will be appreciated by modelers who want to display the aircraft in a realistic landing attitude.

Who it is for

  • Builders of airliners in 1:144 scale
  • Modelers who want to capture a model in the landing configuration
  • More experienced modelers used to working with resin

The detail set does not hold the airplane model itself. Glue, paints and decals are not included in the package.

FAQ

It is not. It is a resin detail set which replaces the flaps on a Boeing 707 model so that they can be shown lowered.

It lets the aircraft be captured in the landing configuration with the flaps lowered instead of a clean wing.

Yes, the trailing edges of the wing are cut off and replaced with the resin parts; the set therefore suits more experienced modelers.
