A liquid pigment glaze from the Liquid Pigments range in a green shade whose name points to fern. A glaze is a thin paint with fine pigment: it is applied over a finished coat, runs into texture and joints and tints them once dry. The green stays transparent, so the surface beneath keeps showing through and the result does not look like overpainting. The product is thinned with water.
On growth and plant dirt. The green tints static grass, moss and leaves, which on their own look flat in color, and ties them to the surface beneath. On a vehicle it suggests green streaks from driving through tall grass, on the fenders, on the underside of the hull and between the track links. On stone, wood and masonry it makes a green film in the joints and on the shaded side. On a diorama you can also use it to break a uniform green surface into several tones.
Shake the container before use, the pigment settles. Apply with a soft brush in thin coats and let them dry; a stronger green can be added, while taking it away only works while the coat is still wet. Lift the excess with a damp brush or a cloth. On growth, do not work evenly, as green in nature clings to the shade and close to the ground. Unify the finished surface with a varnish to the sheen you want.
For builders of dioramas and model landscape and for modelers of vehicles that go off the road. The model, brushes, scatter material, paints and varnishes are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
