Ambush at Poteau - MG 42 machine gunner of KG Hansen 1944 (1:16) is a collector's resin figure for experienced modelers, capturing a Waffen-SS machine gun crewman from the fighting in the Ardennes.
Responsibility details are not available.
A collector's resin figure in 1:16 scale from Life Miniatures. It is supplied as a resin kit for experienced modelers and collectors, divided into cast parts that have to be cleaned up and glued before building. A base and other accessories are not included, unless stated otherwise.
The figure captures a machine gunner of the Kampfgruppe Hansen battle group with an MG 42 machine gun during the fighting near the village of Poteau in the Belgian Ardennes in 1944. The pose and the gear draw on period photographs of the German winter offensive and go together with the other figures of the line.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. We recommend acrylics with a brush, oil work on the face and careful shading of the uniform and the gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
