A collector's resin bust in 1:10 scale from the Life Miniatures brand. It is not a kit but a portrait bust to glue and paint, intended for experienced modelers and figure painters. The package consists of polyurethane resin castings with a base.
The bust captures a German Panzergrenadier of the 12th SS Panzer Division in the period of the fighting in Normandy in 1944. The subject is a typical modeling theme of historical militaria and puts the emphasis on the period uniform, the camouflage and the gear.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut away the casting blocks and clean up the seams. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and wear respiratory protection while sanding. Camouflage patterns reward careful planning: applying them in layers and following up with washes to bring out the folds of the fabric works well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
