This collector's bust from the South Korean studio Life Miniatures belongs to the Fictional Universe fantasy and science-fiction line. It is a cast resin model meant to be assembled and painted by the modeler, not a finished figure. The subject is a stylized cyberpunk gangster with cyborg elements, which offers room for striking work on both the metal areas and the skin.
The bust comes from an original fictional subject, sculpted by an artist of the studio who is valued among collectors. The bust format (the head and chest area in a larger scale) puts the emphasis on the face, the expression and the fine detail of the surface, which are typical of this type of model.
First wash the mold release agent off the parts in lukewarm soapy water, carefully cut away the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); fill any gaps with filler. Sand with respiratory protection. Resin holds detail very faithfully; apply a quality primer and paint with an airbrush and a brush. For the skin and the metal parts, a combination of acrylics, oils and pigments works well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
