An injection-molded plastic set of five figures in 1:35 scale from Master Box. It depicts German infantrymen in the hot summer of 1941, that is, in the opening phase of the fighting on the Eastern Front. The figures are shown in resting and marching poses with period summer gear, suitable for dioramas.
The summer of 1941 marked the start of a massive campaign in the east. In sweltering heat, infantry advanced in lighter summer dress, with rolled-up sleeves, open collars and basic field gear. The set faithfully captures the characteristic uniforms, helmets, belts with pouches, and infantry weapons of this early period of the war, and suits a quiet moment between movements.
Use thin liquid cement for plastic and clean up the parting lines. Apply a primer, apply the field gray and summer tones with an airbrush or brush, and bring out the faces with shading. Add weathering and dust with washes and pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
