Hawker Hurricane Mk.I – airbrush markings mask 1:48 makes it possible to spray the complete national and tactical markings of the Hurricane Mk.I fighter without using decals.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive masking templates (airbrush masks) from MH models in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but an aid for painting: instead of decals, the masks are used to spray the complete markings of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter – that is the national insignia and the accompanying tactical markings. Sprayed markings have no carrier film edge, they blend into the surface well and they can be weathered together with the model.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I was a British single-engine fighter which, together with the Spitfire, formed the backbone of the defense during the Battle of Britain. The structure with a tube-frame fuselage covered in fabric made repairs easy, and during the Battle of Britain the machine shot down a high number of enemy aircraft.
Apply the mask to a perfectly dry and preferably gloss surface. Spray the paint in thin coats so that it does not creep under the edge of the mask. Work from lighter shades to darker ones and take the mask off while the paint is still freshly dry. It is best to spray a white undercoat first wherever the markings are to be saturated.
This is a masking set. The kit, paints and decals are not included in the package.
