A finished collector's model of the racing car Maserati MC12 Competizione in the colors of the Vitaphone Racing team with start number 1. The 1:64 scale matches the usual size of collector's cars.
The MC12 is a racing car derived from one of the best-known Italian supercars and powered by a V12 engine mounted behind the crew. What is unforgettable about it is above all its dimensions: an extraordinarily long tail and a wide nose made it an unmissable piece in a field of endurance cars. In the second half of the last decade it was one of the fixtures of European closed-wheel endurance racing, and the Vitaphone Racing team was among its most prominent users. The rendering of the model matches the car from the twenty-four-hour race at Spa in 2008.
The model comes finished, assembled, painted and with the racing livery applied. Nothing is completed on it; you only unpack it and stand it in a display case.
