It is not an aircraft model but an accessory that adds AIM-9 Sidewinder guided air-to-air missiles placed on the wingtips to an existing Lockheed F-104G Starfighter kit, which is a typical armament configuration for the Starfighter. The set is intended for plastic F-104 kits in 1:144 scale from Mark I Models and Revell. A sister version with the Sidewinders carried under the fuselage also exists; choose according to the configuration you want to build.
The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter was a supersonic fighter of the Cold War, famous for its long slender fuselage and short thin wings, which earned it the nickname of a missile with wings. The F-104G version was the most widespread multirole variant, operated by a number of European and other air forces. On the Starfighter, Sidewinder missiles were often carried exactly on the wingtips.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without the base model. The base F-104 kit in 1:144 is not included in the package.
